The Olympus Focusing Screen 1-8 is a focusing screen suitable for the Olympus OM-1 through OM-4 series of 35mm SLR cameras. The 1-8 focusing screen is an all matte screen intended for super telephoto lenses longer than 300mm in focal length.  Such longer lenses can sometimes interfere with the split or micro prisms on other screens.  The fineness of the matte surface on the 1-8 allows for excellent field definition and this screen works particularly well when used in conjunction with the Varimagni Finder.
